At The Opticians Easingwold we are working to comprehensive health and safety measures in line with the latest guidelines set by the government and local public health authorities.
It is recommended to book an appointment before entering the practice where possible. This allows the practice to know when to expect patients so that social distancing can occur and the practice can be cleaned in between each patient’s visit. If you are early, or the optician is not quite ready for you, you may be asked to wait outside to limit the number of people in the practice and keep everybody safe.
It’s important that you wear a facemask at all times in the practice and please wash or sanitise your hands when you enter the building. Something we have all now learnt to accept as the new normal.
All our staff will be wearing the appropriate PPE to protect both you and themselves. We appreciate it can sometimes be a little unnerving when you can’t see somebody’s face so we have pictures in our ‘Meet the team’ section.
After your eye examination, you are still more than welcome to browse our frames and try them on. All the frames will be sanitised after each patient to reduce the risk and spread.
If you have any other questions regarding our Covid-19 procedures, please feel free to call the practice on 01347 824131 and a member of the team can answer any concerns.
