There have been so many advances in spectacle lens technology over recent years. We now have choices of thinner, lighter, and flatter lenses which can be supplied with a variety of coatings such as a hard coating or anti-reflection coating.

Together, our Optometrist and Dispensing Optician will listen to your requirements and discuss with you which lenses are most suitable for your needs and prescription. Thinner lenses can be up to 42% thinner and 45% lighter than standard lenses and they are available in single vision, bifocal or varifocal.

One way in which we can make your lenses personalised to you is through Eyecode, using our state of the art Visioffice equipment. Personalising your lenses can help you experience sharp, clear vision, as the lens is tailored entirely to your needs and behaviour. Whilst every lens will have some personalisation level due to your prescription; there are ways to take this further and ensure your lenses are exactly as they should be to deliver optimal comfort and visual clarity. This technology allows our measurements to not only be bespoke but also accurate to within 0.01mm.
